Employment law

Practical support in all phases of the employment relationship

For many years, we have advised and represented both employers and employees in all areas of individual and collective labor law – both out of court and in court disputes.

A key focus of our work is providing long-term legal support to employers through ongoing mandates. At the same time, we represent employees in a wide range of areas of employment law. Focusing solely on one interest group is not in line with our principles. We are convinced that successful and effective representation always requires an understanding of the other side's perspective. This understanding, in particular, enables a realistic assessment of employment law disputes and lays the foundation for practical and economically sound solutions.

Our services cover all phases of the employment relationship – from initiation and implementation to termination. We draft and review employment contracts, advise and represent clients during the course of employment, and provide both overt and behind-the-scenes support for employment law matters. Furthermore, we assist with the termination of employment relationships and with the negotiation and drafting of termination agreements, taking into account tax and social security implications.

Our consulting services are not limited to traditional employment relationships. We also advise on freelance contracts, managing director and board member contracts, commercial agency agreements, and consulting contracts, for example, in the field of freelance software developers.

In connection with personnel changes, we also advise on the legally compliant implementation of necessary personnel measures, provide information on the participation rights of works councils or staff councils as well as other bodies, such as the integration office, and support communication and negotiations with these bodies and institutions.
